Responsibilities:

As a Band - HCA, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare team in delivering exceptional care to our clients

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Monitoring and recording vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Supporting clients with mobility and transfers, using appropriate equipment and techniques.
  • Administering medication and ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Assisting with meal preparation and feeding.
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to clients.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean environment for clients.
  • Adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) is essential.
  • A compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on people's lives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic IT skills and the ability to use electronic recordkeeping systems.

You will be based at our Kingswood Civic Centre location in Bristol. The address is Ground Floor, Kingswood Civic Centre, High Street, Kingswood, Bristol, BS15 9TR. The center is easily accessible by public transport.
