Anderson Property services are looking for a Joinery Maintenance Engineer to join our team with immediate effect.


This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Reactive Maintenance Joiner with relevant experience who has a varied knowledge of carrying out maintenance duties in a commercial & Retail environment.

You would be responsible for the effective reaction to planned and un-planned maintenance issues at our clients properties, throughout central Scotland.


Requirements:

  • 4 years (preferred) experience.
  • Able to work well in a team.
  • Have own tools.
  • CLEAN driving licence.
  • Attention to detail.
  • A hardworking, reliable work ethic, flexible as overtime & OOH works may be required depending on client or job requirements.
  • Previous use of handheld technology Ideal but not essential(PDA) for all planned and reactive works
  • An HSE understanding

The main duties include:

  • General property repairs such as hanging doors, fitting or changing door locks frames or handles.
  • Fire door maintenance Door closure repairs etc.
  • Procurement of materials and equipment to carry out works.
  • Completion of compliance/work sheets and obtain authorisation from the Client.
  • Take pride in doing everything you do to the highest standard.
  • A good communicator, who understands the importance of customer service.

Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday (On call rota 1 in 10 weeks, overtime available)

Salary:
£16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
