We are looking for a friendly, outgoing person to work in our family-run Pick and Mix business. The shop is located in the centre of North Laine and has been established for over 35 years.

Two members of staff will be working each Saturday shift.

The role involves:

  • Advising & serving customers
  • Working on the till
  • Ensuring stock levels are well maintained
  • Providing customers with information on pricing, products, and allergies
  • Cleaning
  • Cashing up
  • Opening and closing of the shop
  • Handling credit/debit card and cash transactions
  • Fulfilling internet orders
  • Able to carry out work under their own initiative
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Punctual
  • Reliable
  • Flexible
  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • Friendly
  • Trustworthy
Pay will be determined by age and experience.

Full training will be given.

  • In addition to regular Saturday shift, the role will occasionally require you to work additional shifts to help cover staff absences.
Such shifts may involve covering a mixture of 1/2 day shifts or full-day shifts, are you able to cover the these type of shifts if required?
