We 're looking to recruit a part-timer to boost our pharmacy counter team.

We need someone for one full day and two mornings a week, plus a rota of 1 in 3 Saturday mornings

Hours are as follows:

  • Monday (full day) 9am to 5.30pm (1 hour lunch)
  • Wednesdays (morning) 9am to 1pm
  • Friday (morning) 9am to 1pm
  • Saturdays (1 in 3) 9am to 1pm
Therefore the 'average' number of hours is 16.8 hours per week. There will also be opportunities to earn more, by covering staff holidays.


This position would appeal to a "people person" with a desire to help the public by giving healthcare advice and making counter medicines sales, as well as promotion of our other NHS services.

Your role will based on the shop floor serving customers at the till, taking prescription orders over the phone and working with a great team.

You will have to order stock as well as merchandise it in the shop.

You will also be using computer software and hand held tablet to perform your work. No previous experience required as full training will be provided.

Either way, we are looking for an organised and reliable person who is keen to learn new IT skills and has excellent communication skills.

This position would appeal to an individual who prides themselves on having consistent attention to detail and a friendly approachable manner both on the telephone and face to face.
