We are looking for a quantitative trader/developer with experience in constructing data-focused trading systems to be part of our fixed income algorithmic trading team in UBS Global Markets.
The main focus of this role is on Interest Rate Swaps and government bonds, with chances to engage in other asset classes within the fixed income sector.
- Sit within the Global Markets principal e-trading business and develop cutting-edge algorithmic trading solutions.
- You will play a role in all aspects of algorithmic trading: creating, back testing, implementing trading strategies, and monitoring performance.
- Utilize analysis to enhance systematic quoting and risk management strategies.
You need to have strong analytical abilities and a keen interest in financial markets, along with experience in object-oriented programming, preferably in Java.
The credit and rates electronic and systematic trading team is leading the way in innovative automated trading within fixed income, with a significant presence in the bank, handling government bonds, interest rate swaps, and corporate bonds globally, while developing automated and semi-automated strategies.
We are dedicated to maximizing automation and boosting trading revenues. Our team is made up of skilled professionals with expertise in data analysis and software development. Excellent communication skills are essential, including the ability to grasp and convey business, software, and modeling concepts effortlessly.
- Knowledge of fixed income market making from prior experience in algorithmic trading environments.
