Wedding Sales Exec - £27k per annum + bonus scheme
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Executive, who can help grow our pub wedding business.
Laine has a number of pubs across its estate which it hires for weddings, offering customers a more unique wedding day experience.
About you:
- Solid experience of working in a sales role and closing deals not necessarily in property
- Should be goal orientated, target driven Selfmotivated, organised and sociable individual
- Strong attention to detail and organisation skills to be able to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Thrive on taking on responsibility
- Able to work under pressure to produce results
- Well presented, energetic, enthusiastic with a positive attitude
- Great Communicator
- Work with a strong sense of urgency which translates into high volume results driven activity
You will be responsible for:
Sales
- Drive the sales agenda so that Weddings achieves and exceeds its sales and profit budget.
- Identify and own the relationships with trade partners including thirdparty business opportunities for the brand (e.g. agencies, booking partners, venue finders, travel trade organisers, wedding vendors).
- Understand all key KPIs as set on a quarterly basis and support the Marketing team in pursuit of the wider sales ambition. Work with the team to review the sales and marketing activity needed at a brand level to achieve the sales targets (e.g Investments, Food & Beverage Packages etc).
- Work with the Marketing team to recommend and create experiences, packages, and promotions (e.g For key dates and occasions) in order to increase Wedding sales.
- Be proactive in developing a strong sales funnel generating interest, increasing leads and converting prospects
- Demonstrate ideas and initiative around plans for market growth
Bookings and Digital Customer Journey
- Assume the role of custodian for Wedding bookings via own and thirdparty booking platforms (e.g Hitched, Pub Wedding London and others)
- Maintain regular contact with potential customers, carry out pub viewings, tastings and organising the wedding details to support pubs
- Ensure that venues understand their optimum inventory and how to embed an "always on booking culture".
- Produce reports and forecasts on booking trends and actual bookings verses set budgets and targets.
- Produce a monthly blog to be posted on Pub Wedding London.
- Monitor rejected or cancelled bookings and work with the marketing teams and operations teams to reduce or convert.
- Proactively manage the prebooked sales inventory existing and future Wedding bookings.
- Create new business revenue through the introduction of new couples through proactive outreach and generating new business.
- Assist in reservations and incoming venue enquiries with the purpose of converting those into profitable sales.
General
- Set clear ways of working with the sites to facilitate Weddings.
- Attend any Marketing or Operations meetings when required.
- Keep accurate, updated and authorised records/reports of all revenue generated as a result of events and bookings.
- Provide an outstanding level of customer service by liaising and building rapport with prospects as well as following up on feedback
- Have full knowledge of the sites that you are responsible for booking in Weddings and a clear understanding of all the other sites within the Laine estate.
- Own both Pub Wedding London and Pub Wedding Brighton website to ensure maximum site exposure and increased bookings through this channel.
- Own and regularly post on Pub Wedding London and Pub Wedding Brighton social media channels (ie. Instagram, Facebook etc)
- Regularly produce content to go on all customer facing channels
- Meet daily/weekly with key team members to communicate, review and improve sales
- Report daily to the BDM with sales funnel (ie. Prospects / Leads / Conversions) utilizing Hubspot.
- Keep in regular contact with the BDM to ensure the brand strategy is in line with the wider scale sales and bookings strategy.
- Maintain effective external relationships with clients, third party partners and agencies.
- Occasional travel to visit clients and suppliers in the UK and to trade shows.
- Organise and maintain annual Pub Wedding fairs in the Laine Pub estate.
