The company operates as a Principal Contractor in the Water, Industrial, MOD, and Power sectors. They specialize in New Build, Refurbishment, Civil Engineering, and MEICA projects, prioritizing safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote safe working practices within the commercial function.
  • Perform pre-award activities, including commercial reviews of tender documents and proposals.
  • Manage post-award administrative tasks, such as contract setup and invoicing.
  • Interface with clients regularly and support commercial compliance.
  • Lead contract negotiations and resolve commercial issues.
  • Provide mentorship and development to junior team members.
  • Contribute to project delivery, risk mitigation, and value creation through best procurement practices.

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.
  • Degree qualified in a relevant Cost/Commercial subject.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in IT, especially Excel and Word.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with NEC3/4 contracts management.
