We are looking for an Internal Recruiter to join our small People Team. This role has been designed to support our Hotels and Head Office in recruiting our next future talent.

You'll be joining a talented team that support our diverse portfolio of 23 hotels, ranging from 2 Luxury properties that include Hilton London Bankside and the 5* Grand in York, independent hotels and branded hotels such as Holiday Inn, Hotel Indigo, Ibis and Mercure and many more joining our growing portfolio.

This role will be based from our Head Office in Watford where you will work a minimum of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

From time to time there will be an element of travel and overnight stays involved in order to fully support the recruitment activity in our hotels.


The role will involve project work outside of the day to day recruitment such as reviewing & enhancing recruitment materials, supporting managers in the use of our ATS, organising & delivering assessment centers / interview processes and more.


The opportunity requires a professional and committed individual, you will be involved in all areas, liaising with senior stakeholders and being a first point of contact for recruitment & resourcing needs.

Role in our Family

Key responsibilities to your role:

  • To work closely with the operations team to provide recruitment support and advice wherever needed.
  • Managing recruitment process from beginning to end
  • To support in the development of our Talent Pool and benchmarking
  • Assisting the operations team with the onboarding process
  • Guardian of our Applicant Tracking System

Recruitment Responsibilities

  • Partner and collaborate with hiring managers to clearly define position needs, requirements, preferences, and evaluation criteria
  • Managing and developing recruitment processes, ensuring that all recruitment activity is in line with the recruitment policy: advise, coach and up skill recruiting managers on recruitment policies, tools, processes, interviewing skills, to ensure consistency in recruitment that adheres to best practice, is compliant legally and within Group policies
  • Evaluating and reporting progress against resourcing activity/trends to demonstrate effectiveness and value
  • Ensure all job descriptions and adverts are current and in line with Splendid's recruitment policy
  • Support the wider operations team with the Applicant Tracking System user training, drive compliance and ensuring effective engagement across the group
  • Create job adverts that accurately describe the role, the opportunities and the benefits
  • Oversee the recruitment process by posting vacancies, sifting CVs, screening, arranging interviews, providing feedback, issuing offers and processing new starters
  • Involvement in interview processes to offer feedback and guidance to support the hiring manager
