Job Description FP&A Manager - 6-9 Month FTC
£Aila is excited to announce an exclusive partnership with a leading manufacturing business in Watford on the recruitment of a senior finance leader, joining as an FP&A Manager on an interim basis, initially for 6 months with view for extension. This role sits within a small team looking after management reporting and future financial planning and analysis.


This role will take ownership of the month-end accounting and analysis of a global organisation with a collaborative working culture and fantastic benefits.


You will be tasked with delivering actual monthly management accounts, annual budgets and periodic reforecasts for several cost centres within operations commercial and other business support functions across a £200m spend.

As FP&A Manager, you have line management responsibility for a financial analyst who supports you in preparing financial information and cost control over the commercial & business support functions

Prepare accounting results over the companies functional spend to ensure the results reflect the accounting policies of the company
Provide business assurance over the financial results prior to close and ensure appropriate corrective journals are posted
Working with Business Partnering team to ensure data integrity over results
Managing Functional cost reporting to Group Finance
Understand the nature and corrective actions over functional cost variances to budget and forecast, taking lead in explaining these variances to local and group stakeholders
Drive continuous improvement in the company's financial metrics as well as its Key Performance Indicators reporting
Support & provide information in both external & internal audit
Manage, support and develop a Financial Analyst
Support in the preparation of consolidated information packs and analysis for the Divisional 5 Year Plan


To be successful in this role, you will be comfortable working autonomously, have experience in leading and motivating a month end finance team and have excellent communication and Excel skills, with the ability to partner across a global senior leadership team.
