An exciting opportunity is available for you to join the Acute Medicine team at PAH as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner.
As part of a multi-professional team, led by the lead Acute Medical consultant, you will practice autonomously within an acute setting to provide patient-centered quality care.
This will encompass the skills of assessment, examination, diagnosis and treatment within an agreed scope of practice within the Acute Medicine department (AAU and SDEC) whilst being accountable and self-directed in line with the relevant code of professional conduct.
You will support efficient and patient focused service and will ensure safe referral and discharge of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed presentations in any area of the Acute Medicine department.
80% of the post holder's role will be clinical and 20% related to clinical audit, teaching, self-development, development of the service and research.
