Technical Admin Support**Based in our busy coffee machine technical department, this is a demanding, structured, and varied role, undertaking day to day systems admin through to adhoc technical part assistance and support to our field-based Sales and Operational teams.

The Role:

  • Answer telephone inquiries and accessing our computer records for information or escalating to the appropriate support.
  • Manage and take ownership of stores 2, updating inhouse systems daily to reduce service calls.
  • Check manufacturer manuals and update Dropbox with any new technical updates and pass on to the relevant field teams.
  • Take ownership of technical issues and investigations across a broad range of coffee equipment and see through to conclusion.
  • Seek out, initiate, and deliver process improvements linked to clearly defined metrics and targets.
  • Drive technical excellence using Lean tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Share best practice with field team and implement training requirements.
  • Develop process/systems to ensure maintenance and troubleshooting of installed coffee machines is userfriendly/standardised.
  • Plan workload and manage shifting priorities, assisting the Head of Technical with adhoc project tasks as required.

The Person:

  • Driven by quality customer service with an electro/mechanical aptitude.
  • Demonstrates a willingness to learn key aspects of our technical function.
  • Experience of officebased work environments, preferably in a technical (engineering) setting.
  • Used to working under pressure and liaising with varied stakeholders to drive productivity.
  • Confident in MS Office suite: Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint and MS databases.
  • Selfmotivated, demonstrates initiative with a flexible approach to work.

Salary:
Up to £26k + 25 days Holiday + Pension + EAP + Life Assurance + other Company benefits.
