The post holder will be responsible for the general day to day operational functions of Pharmacy Stores, including providing a high quality and efficient pharmacy distribution and goods in service.
The post holder will support the smooth running of the Pharmacy stores for staff and other Trust employees.The post holder will co-ordinate in the following areas, ensuring tasks are completed and documented in the allotted timeframes:
- Topping up and receipt/supply of ward orders
- Ward and Pharmacy deliveries
- Goods in
- Waste Management
- Emergency Boxes
Working pattern: 1 in 7 weekends & minimum of 1 Bank Holiday a year
- Assist in the coordination of the pharmacy support staff by ensuring all orders have been completed for the day
- Assist in the coordination of the delivery services for the wards & other pharmacy sections
- Assist in the coordination of the goods in team, ensuring orders are completed and stock put away.
- Assist in the coordination of emergency boxes supply & replenishment
- To participate in the training of other support staff and trainees, including topping, returns, receipt, and supply of Lucentis & Eylea to eye clinics.
