The team at An Talla are proud to serve freshly prepared breakfasts and lunches using locally sourced produce.


The kitchen team are looking for a Seasonal Kitchen Porter to help with the running of this busy and popular café.


Your duties will include but not exclusively:

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment promptly and efficiently.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards, including proper handling and storage of food items and cleaning chemicals.
  • Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
  • Handle deliveries and stock rotation to ensure freshness and quality of ingredients.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a clean and orderly kitchen environment at all times.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a kitchen environment preferred but not required; training will be provided.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills & timekeeping.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards, including proper handling and storage of food items and cleaning chemicals.
