Hours of working 6am to 10am Monday to Friday.

  • To open up and lock the depot when required and general site security.
  • To maintain the general cleanliness and tidiness of the depot.
  • To ensure kitchen and toilet areas kept clean.
  • To review and maintain a list of stock levels, ensuring that additional supplies are ordered from HQ as and when required.
  • To carry out spot checks to ensure that end of shift routines have been followed in accordance with the relevant standard operating procedures.
  • To check that vehicles have been cleaned externally checked and correctly stocked for the next shift.
  • To carry out weekly vehicle checks.
  • To carry out minor non mechanical vehicle repairs.
  • To carry out regular external deep cleans on vehicles.
  • To carry out site audits including fire equipment and water checks.
  • To maintain a site asset register.
  • To keep relevant records as appropriate and ensure they are kept up to date.
  • To report any identified issues to the relevant Service Delivery Manager.
  • To visit various company sites as directed on an ad hoc basis to cover for leave and sickness.
  • To attend any mandatory training or meetings as per company policy.
  • To carry out any other relevant duties as directed.
Essential

Full UK manual driving licence, with less than 6 points and 3 years driving experience

Desirable

Previous experience in a stock control environment.

Previous experience in vehicle management.

Previous experience in a garage / workshop environment.

Job Types:
Part-time, Contract

Part-time hours: 20 per week

£10.65-£12.05 per hour
