Advance Staff are currently recruiting for 7.5t Drivers, to fill a role based in Shrewsbury.
A successful candidate will hold a category C1 driving licence and have prior driving experience.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Driving a 7.5t vehicle
  • Loading and unloading the vehicle
  • Adhering to the delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely to ensure all task are carried out in a timely and professional manner and prepare to return home.
  • Daily vehicle safety checks e.
G. tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order. Report any safety issues on standard reports.

Interacting with dispatchers and others daily #Driver Requirements:

  • Hold a category C1 licence.
  • No more than 6 points
  • Up to date with the current driving laws and standards
  • Previous 7.5t driving experience is required
  • Comfortable with strapping and securing loads when needed, sometimes heavy goods
