Meraki Talent are supporting with the appointment of a permanent Divisional Financial Controller - Financial Services based in Edinburgh. The role is paying up to £85,000 base salary plus excellent bonus potential and benefits (see below).

The OpportunityThe business is a UK financial services group with an outstanding reputation for client care and staff satisfaction. It is an organisation which encourages progression and development (having recently promoted the previous incumbent), so there is likely tobe opportunities to move both laterally and vertically within finance.

The position of Divisional Financial Controller - Financial Services will report into the Group Finance Director and will have responsibility for a team of 5.

This role is a key pivot point between finance, sales and operations, so it is important that thesuccessful individual can prioritise and organise their workload effectively - juggling BAU and project work as/when required.


The PersonThe successful will be a qualified accountant with significant post qualification experience.
It is imperative that the successful individual has strong people management experience and can coordinate, delegate and lead.

Moreover, this person must have experience of leading a month end process within large businesses and ensuring appropriate controlsare in place to guarantee the integrity and accuracy of all financial data.
