To provide, the planning, coordination and control of supply chain activities relating to Aircraft Maintenance and the Operation at London Heathrow and European stations as required.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all training records are current and up to date
  • Process/ code local invoices and have a good understanding of operational costs
  • Liaise with Heathrow Airport Limited and obtain temporary airside passes when required
  • Have a good understanding of Trax, able to perform, receiving, shipping etc
  • Carry out the monthly safety checks ensuring good are stored in a safe manner
  • Coordinate the activities and plan the workflow of the Stockkeepers to meet Operational requirements and identify all exceptions
  • Maintain and monitor daily overtime, sickness and injury weekly reports
  • Maximize staffing to achieve the best customer service delivery to the clients. Ensure that tasks are done without delay
  • Represent Stores & Logistics, as the prime contact for our customers
  • Ensure Air Canada corporate guidelines and policies are adhered to
  • Ensure that tasks are performed correctly by a competent workforce and that these tasks are performed in a safe and controlled manner
  • Plan, monitor productivity of shipping, receiving, warehousing, issuing, delivery and expediting
  • Implementation and monitoring of AC supply operations, procedures and controls to ensure that standards are met
  • Ensure that correct inventory levels for aircraft parts are maintained via liaison with Pooling & Allotment and request from Aircraft Line Maintenance
  • Liaise with outside suppliers for maintenance of warehouse equipment etc.
  • Ensure employees have correct PPE equipment
  • Ensure that branch objectives are met in respect of customer service
  • Ensure that housekeeping standards are met, materials stowed and safety and health regulations complied with
  • Arrange for Comat to be delivered to / collected from Cargo to support the greater London operation
  • Maintain records for the ASPD and Customs, producing reports as when required
  • Oversee Time-Ex checks and arrange for disposal of hazardous material
  • Complete station audits and react to findings
  • Monitor all reports including time expired material, tooling calibration and outstanding open Transfer orders
  • Liaise with Heathrow Airport Limited to ensure all safe working practices are adhered to.

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid UK driver's license
  • Forklift license an asset
  • Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years warehouse experience, Supervisory experience an asset
  • Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom unrestricted
  • Training and/or experience in inventory management and purchasing an asset
  • Ability to travel unrestricted within the UK or abroad to support AOG activities
  • Knowledge of aircraft parts preferred and knowledge of common hardware essential
  • Advanced computer and data entry skills needed
  • Must have effective communication skills and the ability to interact with other departments, employees, and supervisors
  • Ability to work under pressure, plan workload and work to deadlines with mínimal supervision
  • Must be a collaborator and represent Air Canada in a professional manner
  • Wear company uniform as prescribed and conform to company grooming standards
  • Required to wear PPE in designated highrisk areas
  • Must have flexibility to fit operational requirements, including AOG coverage when needed
  • Bilingualism (French) is an asset.
  • During the probation period:
  • Complete all OS (Operational Standards) training as outlines in the Control Manual
  • Must obtain a Restricted Area Pass
  • Must be obtain an Airside Driving License
  • Must successfully complete Dangerous Goods Shipping training
  • Must successfully complete Receiving Inspection of Aeronautical Parts (Level 1)
  • Ability to travel to Canada to obtain specific training
