Supply Chain Coordinator Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team at Cast UK Limited. As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Product Team with the daily operational function of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Place purchase orders for contract manufacture and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices.
  • Obtain supplier quotations for goods and ensure that all purchasing deadlines are met.
  • Work closely with the Supply and Inventory Manager to ensure that all purchasing processes are followed.
  • Support the Supply and Inventory Manager with the distribution of documents for review and liaison with relevant team members.
  • Report to the Management team on areas of Cost/Buying/Margin Improvement.

Requirements:

  • A good understanding of working with key suppliers and measuring and monitoring performance.
  • Excellent communication skills to ensure clear and concise instructions are given to internal and external customers.
  • Able to fully understand the required operational process from the point of order receipt through to final delivery.
  • Self-motivated and driven, with the ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
  • Systems-savvy with experience of using Excel and NetSuite or Smartsheet.
