About Us

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a top global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are looking for a Reliability Engineer to join our team in Newcastle.

The Reliability Engineer plays a crucial role in the business intelligence function, focusing on managing the life cycle of key infrastructure assets on-site. This role involves overseeing the assessment and management of operations' reliability that could impact hard services provision and client core systems on-site.

The main focus will be to assess the reliability of equipment, processes, and systems outlined in the contract and associated asset lists for the site. The Engineer will collaborate with CBRE hard services maintenance managers, client facilities & infrastructure managers, and key end-users to spot opportunities for enhancing loss prevention, risk management, and asset life cycle management.

The responsibilities also include conducting thorough analyses to enhance system awareness, identify potential failures, conduct root cause analysis, and investigations under the account lead's guidance.

Job Details
  • Monday to Friday
  • 8am - 5pm with flexibility
  • On-site full time
  • Progression & upskilling for the right candidate
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a technical reliability role in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Multi-skilled engineering background
  • In-depth knowledge of maintenance processes and tools for analyzing and managing asset reliability
  • Proficiency in reading, understanding, and sketching technical drawings and literature for work order information
  • Experience and knowledge of: Vibration Analysis Category I, Ultrasound Category I, & Asset Reliability Associate
