Duties and responsibilities

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager with expertise in Building Physics using IES's VE Software, coupled with a relevant engineering or architectural background. The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:

Essential Requirements:

  • Hold a degree in a relevant field
  • Proficiency in IES Virtual Environment, including energy modeling
  • Excellent communication skills with a clear and confident approach
  • Previous experience in conducting meetings with project stakeholders, delivering comprehensive analyses to clients, including findings and implications

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with UK building regulations Part L Section 6
  • Understanding of HVAC systems, controls, and/or system modeling
  • Knowledge of BREEAM, NABERS, LEED, ASHRAE 90.1 analysis, Passivhaus
  • Proficiency in daylight modeling
  • Strong analytical abilities, including spreadsheet utilization
  • Interest in Decarbonization and Net-Zero strategies
