The role
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. This is a great opportunity to play a senior role in a dynamic delivery team, working on new and exciting projects as part of a rapidly expanding organisation.

Day-to-day, you'll work with the Engineering Leads and Design team, deriving and managing system and sub-system requirements as well as:
  • Managing requirements traceability activities and documentation
  • Leading validation, verification, test and acceptance activities
  • Leading in the definition of activities in response to customer change and participating in the development, building, testing and trialling of solutions
  • Contributing to the creation of high-quality project documentation
This position involves travel/working across a range of internal and customer sites within the UK and overseas, as a requirement of the role.

This role is full time, thirty-seven hours per week provides hybrid working arrangements with four days in the office/onsite and one day working from home.

Essential experience of the Senior Systems Engineer
  • Requirements writing, analysis and management within an MOD context
  • Test plan, case and script development for complex systems
  • Competent in the use of IBM DOORS for requirements management
  • Appreciation of test in real world environments
  • Excellent customer facing skills
Qualifications for the Senior Systems Engineer
  • Degree or equivalent in Telecommunications or Electronic Engineering
  • HNC/HND with equivalent, relevant experience is valued and welcomed
  • Incorporated / Chartered Engineer or working towards
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance for this role.
