This is an excellent opportunity for a Construction Contracts Manager to work for a reputable SME who have contracts throughout the North West with Tier 1 & Tier 2 customers. The opportunity would be perfect for a Contracts Manager with commercial construction experience or a Site Manager with experience managing contracts and looking to take the next step in their career. Our client is a specialist SME company with over 20+ years of experience in Structural Alterations in connection with M & E Services.
Responsibilities:- Meeting with clients to find out their requirements
- Producing plans and estimating budgets and timescales
- Discussing, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating the terms of business contracts
- Agreeing budgets and timescales with the clients
- Managing construction schedules and budgets
- Attending site meetings to monitor progress
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients, specialists, agency staff or sub-contractors, site and project managers, and suppliers
- Overseeing invoicing at the end of a project
- Working on-site and office (predominately based in the north west), however, expected to be able to work nationwide as and when needed
- Carrying out direct supervision of operatives ensuring works are carried out in a safe, compliant, effective, and efficient manner
- Establishing, developing, and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients
You must have:
- Proven strong leadership skills with at least 3 years of experience in Management in the construction industry
- The ability to use your initiative
- Honesty and integrity
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with strong IT knowledge
- Ability to communicate, collaborate, and support Specialists, Operatives, Site and Office team
