To act as a Client Director supporting a varied range of public sector clients.

The candidate will be expected to manage their portfolio of clients, providing a quality service meeting client demands and needs in order to achieve optimum profitable renewal retention rate and account growth.


Manage client/prospect relationships and grow the book/existing accounts, providing the most appropriate insurance and risk management solutions
Proactively seek out commercial opportunities and partnerships
Work closely with Account Handlers and Brokers to negotiate terms and conditions of placements
Assist with new business report writing

Carry out duties following internal policies and procedures in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, good governance and Gallagher's shared values, in particular, putting clients at the heart of our business.


Previous demonstrable experience in an Account Executive or Broker role
Proven rapport-building experience with internal/external stakeholders
Robust knowledge of client market and insurance industry network
Excellent planning and analytical skills
Continually builds and sustains a network managing relationships
Ability to travel to client sites
