The role


You will support the Customer Standards and Policy Managers to develop and maintain a suite of Customer Standards and Policies which support colleagues across the Group to deliver a lifetime of possibilities for our customers.

You'll help build and enhance stakeholder relationships from across the Group, working collaboratively to support the development and evolution of customer centred guidance and support mechanisms.


The Customer Standards and Policy team sit within the Line 1 Risk and Governance area in the Customer division and are working with colleagues from across the Group to bring together entity-level Frameworks and Standards in a way that reflects the enlarged scale of the Group, our ambitious strategic agenda, and our customer obsessed culture.


What are we looking for?

  • An understanding of risk management within the Financial Services sector, preferably in a Line 1 or Line 2 capacity.
  • A good understanding of the regulatory landscape within the Financial Services sector.
  • Proven track record in gaining credibility with senior stakeholders and strong influencing skills.
  • Forwardthinking, proactive in instigating and managing oversight activity which adds value to the business.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and demands which are likely to occur during a period of major change/transformation.
