Job description - Sales/Costing Administrator
Oceantec Marine Limited is a family owned, Precision Engineering Company based in Newton Aycliffe, Co. Durham. We specialise in the design and manufacture of pressure related components for the Oil & Gas Industry.


Due to expansion and a full works order book, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Sales/Costings Administrator to join our well-established Team on a Full-Time, Permanent basis.

Part time could be considered for the right person.

Job Overview:

This role is for a Sales/Costings Administrator to carry out the following duties:

  • Liaising with clients and building upon the strong relationships that are already in place
  • Record sales enquiries and prepare documentation for technical and commercial review
  • Record sales orders, maintain the works order schedule and plan delivery schedules
  • Obtaining raw material pricing and component parts to support the costing synthesis and raise material requisitions
  • Compile Costings and Bills of Material using Excel
  • Support the compilation of documentation packs
  • Arrange collections and deliveries with third party couriers for UK / International shipments
  • General office duties directing incoming calls, greeting visitors, sorting post, keeping the office clean and tidy etc

To be considered for the position, you must have GCSE grades C and above in Maths & English and be:

  • Enthusiastic, with a good work ethic, willingness to learn and ability to work on your own initiative
  • Numerate and able to communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner, with a good standard of written and spoken English
  • Must have excellent computer skills
    Excel & Word along with a good telephone manner
  • A positive attitude with the ability to stay focused under pressure while prioritizing workload and being selfdisciplined
  • Must be a team player and someone who is not fazed by a fastpaced environment.
If you have a proven track record in Sales/Costings Administration, this position is available with an immediate start.

Salary is negotiable depending on prior experience. Overtime is available as and when required

Job Types:

£12.00-£14.00 per hour (Depending on Age and Experience)

Expected hours: 39 per week
