Making A Difference as an Advanced Public Health Practitioner in the Children's integrated Commissioning Team


You will join a small but established children's integrated commissioning team which includes NHS and Local Authority children's commissioners each with their own lead programme areas.

As the lead for children's public health, you will lead on the design, implementation and monitoring of the 0-19/25 Healthy Child Programme in St.

Helen's, working closely with the well-respected local Public Health team.

You will also provide strategic leadership and advocacy to influence health and wellbeing outcomes for children, young people and their families through collaborative partnership working.

In return, you will be supported and encouraged to develop and achieve your career aspirations, with regular supervision from knowledgeable and experienced senior NHS commissioners and Public Health leads.

Mentoring and coaching is also available, with ongoing continuous professional development to help you fulfil your role and personal development plan objectives.
