School Design & Technology Technician

Grade 3 (SCP 5 to 6). Actual salary is £10,629.74 to £10,807.50 per annum.

Outwood Academy Brumby is wishing to appoint an energetic, enthusiastic Design & Technology Technician with a strong commitment to working with young people in an educational setting. Reporting to the Head of Department you will support teaching and learning and the DT department in the preparation of lessons and assist with practical lessons when required.
A successful candidate must have the ability to work effectively under pressure, be a reliable, organised and conscientious individual who is a flexible team worker and who shows initiative. You should have Level 2 in Maths and English or equivalent and be keen to undergo further development / education. Full training and support will be given to the right candidate.
We believe that all support staff are key posts in terms of securing student success and achievement across a broad range of subjects and experiences. As such we are keen to recruit dedicated and ambitious individuals who will add value to our Academy in both academic terms and through involvement in the fabric of learning and success beyond the classroom.
