The Job of Engineering Support at Our State of the Art Factory
We are looking for a dedicated individual to ensure the smooth running of our brand new, cutting-edge factory and drive continuous improvement across the site.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance tasks on site services, tools, equipment, and facilities.
- Execute repairs on machinery during production.
- Respond promptly to on-site breakdowns to minimize plant and machinery downtime.
- Conduct daily inspections of site services and carry out planned preventive maintenance on-site.
- Ensure compliance and optimal availability of facility and utility services.
- Achieve plant uptime and maintenance goals through various maintenance approaches and enhancing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Monitor chemical and bacterial tests on cooling tower water as per the schedule.
Your Profile:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering.
- Multi-skilled with formal engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or higher) in electrical and/or mechanical disciplines or a nationally recognized engineering apprenticeship.
- Hold 17th or 18th Edition Certification.
- Acquire Steam utilization and boiler house training certification.
- Trained in Health and Safety/Basic Food Hygiene.
- Demonstrate proactive fault-finding skills and a dedication to continuous enhancement.
- Proficient in computer usage, MS Office, and PPM systems.
- Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical manuals and drawings.
