As a Training & Assessment Facilitator with our Early Years & Childcare department, you'll be working in a varied role getting out & about in the community visiting schools, nurseries and other centres to support the next generation of early-years professionals to get the most out of their work-based learning.


You'll be building up relationships with employers, setting up new opportunities for students and working closely with learners to monitor their progress through 1:1's to identify areas that need focus.


We're looking for somebody excited to help drive the provision forward and get involved in exciting upcoming projects like the introduction of T-Levels.


Day-to-day you will be responsible for:

  • Tracking, monitoring & supporting learner progress
  • Providing coaching in a practical learning environment
  • Liaising and building relationships with employers
  • Working closely with course leaders, tutors and mentors
  • Playing an integral role in student safeguarding
  • Championing our commitment to putting students first
  • Promoting our values of fairness, respect & equality

  • Effectively supported students in their placements
  • Ensured course work & competencies are in line with CACHE specifications
  • Met all relevant quality assurance thresholds
  • Enthusiastically engaged with the college's dedicated CPD programmes
  • Built Strong working relationships and supported colleagues where possible

We're open-minded & welcome all applicants who believe they can build success with us, though ideally, you will:

  • Have strong industry experience in a childcare setting (Newborn, Primary or Teen)
  • Hold an Assessors qualification such as A1/TAQA or equivalent
  • Be enthusiastic about workbased learning for young adults
  • Be excited to bring fresh ideas to the table and help us constantly improve
