Respected within the industry for their groundbreaking work, a leading organization is seeking a Senior Phyisical Climate Risk Modeller to contribute to their mission.

Based in their Cambridge office, the successful candidate will play a vital role in developing and enhancing the suite of environmental and risk models.

The primary focus will be on environmental risk modelling, leveraging expertise to quantify climate-related perils and their impacts on business value chains.

As a senior member of the team, responsibilities include wrangling complex datasets, conducting analytics, and building rigorous models to provide invaluable insights.

Bachelor's or higher degree in natural sciences, mathematics, physics, or a related quantitative discipline.
Proficiency in relevant scientific topics related to climate change or quantitative modelling.
Strong programming skills, preferably in Python.
Experience synthesizing information to create novel solutions and applying data science to real-world problems.
Knowledge of geospatial data science and geographical information systems (GIS).
Prior experience in a commercial setting or business consultancy.
Project management experience, delivering projects on time and on budget.
