Salary:
Up to £32,000

Location:
Derby

  • Processing LAA Statements as well as dealing with LAA queries
  • Preparing, checking, and processing invoices and bank payments (BACS/CHAPS/Etc)
  • Bank and ledger reconciliations
  • Posting and paying disbursements
  • Residual balance investigation
  • Compliance reporting
  • Supporting year end audit and accounts audit
  • Deputising for the Cashier manager
  • Supervising junior team members

Skills Needed:

  • Knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules
  • Experience of Legal Aid Billing
  • Attention to detail and a selfstarter
  • Confident and a good positive attitude
  • Can demonstrate initiative and management skills
  • Good attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Good communication skills and ability to adapt to various levels of understanding
  • Experience of adapting to different IT systems
