The newly formed SPW Technology & Engineering function is responsible for building the technology platform to support our new venture.

We are entirely in the cloud, taking advantage of powerful commoditised offerings where we can, and building bespoke cloud-native solutions when they can differentiate us from our competition.

Location - Remote with weekly trips into the Leeds office
Salary - Up to £88,000 per annum + benefits package (detailed below)

Delivery at SPW is SAFe-inspired agile. We have 4 Value Streams and we're looking to grow that. Each team is made up of cross-skilled developers and each aims to include 2 SDET/test/QA resource. We use Salesforce as a CRM, integrate to other products such as Docusign, SmartComms and Voyant.

We have a React front-end for some internal data capture and we're mobilising building new web and potentially mobile customer front-ends too.

Without falling into documentation paralysis, as Principle QA you will be accountable for our testing strategy and approach in this SAFe-inspired multi-technology environment.

You will work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure the SDLC minimises issues in production.

We have a mix of automation and manual testing, but we're pushing hard to get a new tool to support automation testing for Salesforce.

Skills and experience required for the role:

• A minimum 5 years' line management experience and ability to demonstrate how to lead a team and drive the set up of a QA practice/guild
• You are happy working in an Agile delivery environment
• Effective stakeholder management
• You have experience in using a range of API and web testing frameworks, for example Cypress, Selenium, Supertest & Postman.
• You have experience with package software and testing tools that support the automated testing of Salesforce.
