We're hiring a MRO Storesperson at Magna Exteriors Sunderland

We are proud to be the highest-volume producer of thermoplastic back door modules in Europe Our plant has been in mass production since 2021 and we are on a journey to become a global benchmark in Tailgate manufacturing.

Located in the North East of England, we are an energetic and passionate team with expertise in exciting materials and processes. We are committed to advancing our knowledge and learning while experimenting and evolving.

About the Role

As a MRO Storesperson, your main responsibilities will include tracking inventory levels, placing orders for new stock, and maintaining accurate records to ensure products are available when needed. This role is crucial for our business operations.

Your Responsibilities

  • Place orders to replenish stock without shortages or excess.
  • Receive and check all deliveries.
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding deliveries and stock discrepancies.
  • Update inventory management systems.
  • Conduct stock checks and maintain repair logs.
  • Optimize inventory control and organize inventory space efficiently.
  • Problem-solve and anticipate inventory-related issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments.

Who we are looking for

Essential:

  • Previous experience with SAP.
  • Minimum of three years of similar role experience.
  • Knowledge of inventory management software.
  • Analytical mind with strong math skills.
  • Organizational and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong PC skills, including Excel, Access, Word, and Outlook.

Desirable:

  • Forklift license.
  • Manufacturing experience.
