About the Role

As MRO Storesperson you will be responsible for tracking inventory levels, placing orders for new stock, and maintaining accurate records. This role is crucial for ensuring that the right products are available at the right time, which is fundamental to business operations.

Your Responsibilities

• Place orders to replenish stock avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus.

• Receiving all deliveries and checking the goods received.

• Liaising with suppliers about deliveries and discrepancies in stock.

• Updating inventory management systems.

• Stock checks.

• Maintaining repair log.

• Devise ways to optimize inventory control.

• Plan, prioritize, and execute tasks in a timely and orderly fashion.

• Keep track of inventory records, documents, and files, and ensure they are accurate and up to date.

• Organise inventory space, such as shelves, bins, and warehouses, and ensure they are clean, safe, and accessible.

• Problem-solving, identify, analyze, and solve inventory-related issues and challenges.

• Anticipate potential problems, prevent them from escalating, and mitigate their impact.

• Collaborate and cooperate with other departments.

Who we are looking for

Essential

• Previous experience of working with SAP.

• Minimum of three years of experience in a similar role.

• Working knowledge of inventory management software.

• An analytical mind with strong math skills.

• Excellent organisational skills.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Problem solving.

• Proactive critical thinking.

• Good PC skills, including Excel, Access, Word & Outlook.

Desirable

• Forklift license.

• Manufacturing experience
