The Client Services Director guides clients through consulting engagements, tailoring the implementation based on the product's therapeutic class and distribution channel, and the company's goals. They are responsible for tracking workstreams to support launch timelines and objectives. Moreover, the Client Services Director is the go-to expert for Third Party Logistics (3PL) and assists clients in selecting and integrating their logistics partner.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and nurture strong client relationships while offering consultative advice.
  • Investigate and resolve client and internal issues, identifying root causes, and escalating when necessary.
  • Create and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and checklists, ensuring files are well-organized and accessible within the designated system.
  • Schedule regular client meetings, ensure materials are completed on time, and meet branding and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams when required on areas beyond expertise (e.g., compendia strategy, distribution strategy, licensing, e-prescribing, etc.)
  • Analyze distribution capabilities and advise clients on distribution channel strategies.
  • Lead clients through a personalized RFP development and analysis process for their 3PL vendors.
  • Participate in 3PL calls and contracting, providing guidance post selection process.
  • Assist clients in making strategic channel decisions, creating process flows, policies, and developing launch materials.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is submitted to different distribution channels offering guidance on distribution contracts and policy development.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and advancements.
  • Support sales presentations and other business development opportunities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Role Requirements:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required. Equivalent experience may substitute educational requirements.
  • Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical or marketing services industry experience required.
  • Minimum 4 years of project management experience required.
  • Experience with project management software preferred (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Mural, Monday, Asana, etc.)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Advanced knowledge of 3PL, Specialty Pharmacy, Specialty Distribution, and Wholesale/Retail markets.
  • Understanding of client management and project management best practices.
  • Proficiency in organizing and prioritizing work, using MS Office suite, working with individuals at all levels within the company, and documenting processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities, foster a positive team environment, work within deadlines, persuade and build consensus, communicate effectively verbally and in writing, thrive in a culture of ownership, delivery, and innovation, collaborate effectively in a globally distributed organization, solve problems utilizing available resources, and work both independently and within a team environment.
