  • Internals to work on the renowned Oriel project.
Oriel is a joint initiative to transform a two-acre site at St Pancras Hospital to deliver a pioneering eye care, research, and education centre. The project will be a new, state-of-the-art building with an anticipated gross internal area of up to 46,000m2.

Designed with flexibility in mind, it will be able to meet future service requirements and keep pace with changes in technological, medical or research requirements.

Its design has been the subject of an extensive programme of engagement with patients, staff and partner organisations to ensure a national standard for accessibility is created.

Essential Criteria: Experience in Commercial or HealthCare new build projectsExperienced in dealing with packages of an internal build (Drylining, Flooring etc)1st fix or 2nd stage experienceMain contractor experience preferredKnowledge of UK building regulations including UK H&S construction laws and their applicationExperience of interfacing with Design and Architectural teamAbility to manage Assistant Site Managers and subcontractorsSMSTS, CSCS Black Card (white card also acceptable in some cases) - must be currentStress ManagementHigh levels of quality standardsAbility to handle multiple tasks at onceDemonstrates strong attention to detail and produce accurate workJob Purpose and Scope: Manage interface with design and engineering teams and lead a subject to completion. Clarify the technical information, scope of works and interfaces with other trades during the procurement phase.
