We are looking for additional Housekeeping & Cleaning Assistants to join our small and welcoming team here at Applewood Countryside Park; a popular family-friendly campsite that attracts over 8,000 guests annually with excellent facilities, luxury glamping and seasonal events.


Please note:
These roles are offered on a zero hour contract basis to cover shifts as per business needs. Working hours will vary and no set hours can be guaranteed.


Regular working days will probably be Mondays and Fridays (starting from 9.00am), with 1-2 additional days over the course of the week
and will include some weekends (maximum 2 per month).


Due to the nature of the business, the successful applicant will be required to work Bank Holidays and provide holiday cover where necessary.

Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

  • Daily cleaning of our guest shower, toilet and laundry facilities
  • maintaining a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness
  • Cleaning and servicing luxury Glamping Pods and Shepherd's Cabins this will include bathrooms, bedrooms (including bunk beds), kitchens and living areas
  • Daily check and clean of our Games Den
  • Regular check of refuse and recycling points and pitches to ensure they are tidy and rubbish free
  • Ensuring cleaning equipment and linen cupboards are maintained and stocked at the end of each shift
  • Reporting any maintenance issues/ faults
  • Ensuring that the correct company image and standards are maintained at all times
  • Engaging guests in a friendly and professional manner

Skills required:

  • Previous cleaning experience preferred
  • The ability to perform physically demanding work to tight timescales
  • Ability to organise, multitask, and prioritise
  • Friendly, approachable with a passion for great customer service
  • Due to the rural location applicants will need access to reliable transport
