  • We currently have an exciting opportunity within the Greater Cambridge Shared Planning Service, to work in our busy planning service as a Principal Planning Compliance Officer. You will have the chance to work on a wide range planning compliance matters enforcing planning legislation affecting unauthorised development as well other statutory provisions including the service of notices, defending appeals, and issuing injunctions. In addition, you will mentor team members, and contribute to their learning and knowledge. You will have an enthusiastic, supportive team around you to help you grow and develop your career in planning.
  • You will help provide an effective and efficient compliance service to the Public, Members of the Council (Elected Councillors) Members of Parish Councils and your colleagues in respect of the Investigation of complaints or allegations of unauthorised development using your knowledge of planning legislation and a working understanding of related areas of Council wide enforcement legislation.
