Associate Director Hydrogeology/EIAHybrid-Dublin or Cork, IrelandAre you looking for a step up or just a change of scenery? This forward thinking, sustainable consultancy is looking for an Associate Director to take a leading role within the Hydrogeology/EIA team, due to significant growth throughout Ireland.
The successful candidates will ideally have experience of Irish or overseas markets, working on renewable energy projects such as wind and solar farms with input at a senior level.
Other projects include contaminated land projects, thermal generation projects and EPA licensed sites.The roleYou will be expected to.
Provide Managerial and technical leadership of the Hydrogeology and EIA teamTake a lead in technical report writing for the team and checking more junior team members technical outputDeveloping the technical skills of junior and mid-level team membersRecruitment, and business development input to the Ops Director/Managing DirectorThe design and reviewing of EIA Chapters for relevant hydrogeology chapters and input support on hydrology, contaminated land, geology and soils projectsManging tender requestsDesigning site investigation and field works RequirementsA relevant science based/environmental degree, ideally with a post graduate Hydrogeology or EIA qualificationManagement experience of running a team in hydrogeological servicesExcellent report writing and technical contentAble to lead bids and manage ongoing projectsMust be computer literate in Word, Excell and AccessAbility to apply financial analyseFull clean driving licenceChartership and professional membership advantageous Why this role?The client we are working with is committed to making a difference in both their environment and their business.
