ResponsibilitiesnFully managing their various Innovate UK grants, including engaging with Innovate UK monitoring officers and accountants, and preparing quarterly update reports to ensure claims are submitted and approved in a timely manner.nAssist with hiring, including drafting job descriptions and engaging with recruiters.nAssist with lab expansion, including engaging with lab space providers and managing lab expansion and move logistics.nPreparing R&D tax credit reports, including engaging with accountants and preparing quarterly technical and cost claim reports.nOrganising team building activities.
Qualifications and experiencen3+ years experience in UK Innovate grant management compliance is a must.nExcellent financial acumen is a must.nExcellent attention to detail.nExcellent written and oral communication skills are a must.nBSc in Biology, Immunology, or similar is desired.nExperience in hiring and liaising with external recruiters is desired.nExperience in a multi-faceted operational role is desired.nExperience in an early-stage startup environment is desirable.
