About the job:

We have an exciting opportunity for an innovative and dedicated individual to join our team as a Property Surveyor.

You will be responsible for and will undertake the pro-active day to day management of the Councils non-operational commercial property investment portfolio.

This includes the valuation, buying, selling and development of land and property.

You will have project management experience in respect of property related projects, in particular key economic regeneration projects and programmes.

You will have experience in undertaking an annual programme of Asset Register valuations, reporting on and signing these off as a Registered Valuer.

We are looking for someone with excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to work on their own initiative and to tight deadlines.

Requirements:

• Detailed current knowledge of property management services and legislation.
• Relevant degree or relevant professional qualification
• Professional qualified and registered Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
• Familiarity with and ability to read plans and maps.
