Trainee Medical Receptionist
Full Training will be provided for duties which will include appointment booking, handling patient enquiries, and preparing repeat prescriptions.

This does provide an excellent opportunity to move into General Practice and develop into a member of our reception team at our busy surgery.

The recently refurbished premises offer a pleasant working environment, and we operate with a full complement of doctors and nurses, providing traditional high-quality care for our appreciative patients.

The role initially involves working 8.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday over 25 hours a week.

Flexibility to provide sickness and holiday leave cover will be expected and it is possible that contracted hours may increase in the future.


The rate of pay is £10.42 per hour, and we are also able to provide access to NHS Discounts/Blue Light Card and the NHS Pension scheme is available.

Free parking is also available on site.
