We are currently seeking a Chef to join our dedicated team at Fulwood Barracks, Preston PR2 8AA

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meals for approximately 60 residents daily in an on-site kitchen
  • Collaborate effectively with a team of chefs, supporting each other and maintaining good communication
  • Participate in both small and large events
  • Follow recipes to prepare a variety of dishes
  • Complete necessary paperwork for compliance
  • Assist with deliveries and inventory checks
  • Monitor and record equipment temperatures
  • Contribute to kitchen cleanliness and hygiene practices
  • Train new team members on kitchen procedures and standards
  • Participate in required training sessions

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a similar food service setting
  • Culinary qualification (minimum level 2)
  • Strong team player and communicator
  • Confident in your culinary skills
  • DBS check is necessary
  • Flexibility and innovation mindset
