The Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to join the UK Support Function team. You will undertake specific responsibilities to support, prioritise and coordinate effective and efficient technical administrative support to Electrical EngineeringUK.


You will need to exhibit a high level of organisation skills, great team ethic and the ability to collaborate with people at all levels both internally and externally, whilst embracing innovative ways of working.

The Role (this is not a comprehensive list of responsibilities)

  • Will be based in our Stevenage office with the flexibility to travel to other UK sites
  • Generate and maintain a close working relationship with internal and external customers
  • Document control: e.g. maintenance of registers, equipment lists, product delivery tracking, milestones, etc
  • Reporting/Policy management: pulling test results into a structured document, collation and action of review comments, Workload Forecast data management
  • Access control administration support, i.e. Shared drive, floor plate coordination, security, Need to Know
  • Procurement and Finance support: raising purchase orders, invoicing, supplier engagement, bid coordination, completion of standard proformers
  • Collation, distribution and management of general review outputs / actions / observations
  • Supporting best practice: e.g. tracking KPI's, coordinating and policing internal processes and feedback across Electrical Engineering
  • Collation and maintenance of process review feedback raising and chasing nonconformances using inhouse systems
  • To support the continuous improvement to delivery, process and behaviours within Electrical Engineering
  • Work with senior management to identify technical administration activities that could be reassigned from the engineering population to the UK Support Function
