Job Details:

Pay Rate: £13.39 per hour (Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30)

Overtime Rates: £17.81 per hour (after 40 hours), £20.09 per hour (Saturdays)

Contract Type: Ongoing, with potential for full-time role with the client

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a B3 15 Tonne Counter Balance forklift to move, stack, and organize materials
  • Load and unload trucks and containers efficiently
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on the forklift to ensure optimal performance
  • Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries
  • Keep accurate records of inventory movement and storage locations
  • Collaborate with team members for efficient workflow

Requirements:

  • Valid B3 Counter Balance (15 Tonne) forklift operator certification or license
  • Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to forklift operation
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders and safety rules
  • Strong attention to detail for accurate tracking of inventory movements
  • Physical stamina for repetitive lifting, bending, and standing
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
