Salary:
£34, ,000 DOE per annum pro-rata. Full-time employed (initial probation period starts at 4 days/week).

Role:


As an early intervention practitioner you will work with children ages 18 months - 4 years in central London and surrounds (Zones 1-4).

You will be required to travel to clients' houses and nurseries in and around London to provide 1:1 support with the child and coaching to caregivers and teachers.

You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team that include teachers, SENCo's, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Educational Psychologists, Educational Consultants and Behaviour Analysts.

You will develop goals based on baseline assessment and in collaboration with the parent/caregiver.

The role involves receiving direct supervision from a Director at hatchlings in understanding the Hatchlings model and our philosophy to early intervention and childhood development.

You will also be fully immersed in a team environment with weekly meetings and termly training days with the opportunity to learn and grow your professional skill set.


This role is best suited for a BCBA, ABA supervisor or professional with experience working within homes and schools who have a strong interest in parent coaching, naturalistic behavioral interventions and providing community wide support.


Skills & requirements:

  • Provide facetoface child behavioural therapy and parent coaching in line with Hatchlings London framework.
  • Write up measurable and achievable goals in line with family wishes and Hatchlings London framework.
  • Maintain and organise your own client load, including responding to queries and questions in a timely and empathetic manner.
  • Assist in further developing our policies and handbook, where needed.
  • Assist with expanding our presence on, and updating, our social media profiles.
  • Assist with expanding Hatchlings networks, including the development of content and delivering webinars or assisting with training.
  • Attendance at weekly meetings.
  • Attendance at a minimum of one weekly "onetoone" and one Monthly supervision with the designated line manager
  • Provide supervision to peers: Supervise peers in a 1:1 and/or group capacity and ensure that their work is in line with Hatchlings' values and procedures. Provide feedback and support to ensure that peers are meeting their performance goals.
  • Conduct assessment for onboarding clients: Conduct assessments and produce a report for new clients to identify their needs and match them with appropriate services.
  • Maintain their own client load: Maintain a personal caseload while completing other job duties.
  • Assist in producing materials: Produce both internal and external materials for the company. Work collaboratively with other team members to develop training materials and resources that support Hatchlings' objectives.
  • Assist in producing training programs: Assist in developing both internal and external training programs. Work with the Training and Development team to develop and deliver training programs that align with Hatchlings' values and goals.
  • Deliver training as requested: Deliver training sessions as requested, using a variety of delivery methods to ensure that training is effective and engaging.
  • Assist in planning social groups: Developing social group curriculum and ensuring that they are in line with Hatchlings framework. This could include creating weekly plans, communicating with parents, managing and collaborating with other staff within the social groups.

Must Have

  • Masters in ABA, psychology or related field
  • Comfortable traveling around London using a bus or the tube. All costs reimbursed.
  • 3 + years of previous experience of ABA, either from working in home programmes or another ABA setting.
  • 1+ year of experience as a supervisor.
