Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Playgroup Leader to join our in-house, school Playgroup for 2-3 year olds based within Sageston CP School.

This will be a permanent position required for 30 hours per week, Mon-Fri, term-time only, with a start date of 2 nd September 2024.

Candidates will need to hold a minimum Level 3 Childcare Learning and Development or equivalent qualification from the Care Council for Wales' current list of Accepted Qualifications for the Early Years and Childcare Workforce in Wales or Skills Active's Integrated Qualification Framework for Play work alongside at least 2 years experience of working in a similar environment.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate a reasonable standard of education with proficiency in literacy and numeracy to GCSE level or equivalent and have previous experience of working with or caring for children of a relevant age.
