About the Position
As a Production Operator, reporting into the Shift Team Leader, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting with the efficient operation of packing lines in the production area of a busy milk production and packing site
- Contributing to quality and technical aspects of the Production team to ensure the production of high-quality milk products reliably and cost-effectively
- Running Production and Packing lines effectively using IT systems
- Performing basic maintenance tasks
- Monitoring equipment performance and addressing issues promptly
- Maintaining high standards of Quality and Health and Safety
- Conducting finished product quality checks
- Completing paperwork and data entry tasks
- Being a proactive team player focused on continuous improvement
- Being flexible regarding work hours, including weekends and shifts
Who You Are
- A motivated team player with the ability to work independently
- Ideally, some experience in process control / packing systems, mechanical aptitude, and basic computer skills
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Strong performer with a good attendance record and a willingness to learn
