Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for a fantastic professional services business based in central Manchester. They are now looking to appoint an Insurance Claims Auditor to join their dynamic Quality Assurance function.

As the Insurance Claims Auditor, you will be required to complete independent and consistent file reviews to ensure fee earners are adhering to the performance standards in place.

You will be the key point of contact for a wide range of clients and will beexpected to deliver a high level of service at all times.

Some of your key responsibilities will include the following:

  • Complete client file reviews to monitor adherence to SLA's and internal performance standards using the internal audit database
  • Produce audit performance reports to the QA Manager for agreement, identifying any areas of improvement
  • Work with senior stakeholders to deliver feedback in a constructive manner
  • Engage with team project work and initiatives to assist in the delivery of continuous improvement to the UK insurance practice
  • Work closely with Risk teams to agree changes impacting the business are properly communicated to all stakeholders
  • Support the Business Development team by providing quality audit data
  • Manage all ad hoc audit requests from QA Managers
  • Work the IT team and other stakeholders to develop the efficiency of the systems in extracting data for ease of productions of audit reports
To be considered for this position you will ideally have the following skillset:

  • Excellent knowledge of the insurance litigation processes
  • Experience within an insurance claims related environment (ideally insurer based or legal services)
  • Beneficial to have an understanding of the audit process
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to manage more than one project at a time
