My client are a very successful FMCG business in the Warrington area. This role has come about due to an internal promotion & will partner across the site with multiple stakeholders. You will also have 1 direct report.

Job Description

  • Provide leadership to ensure that the site finance team is engaged, focused, developed and delivering to their full potential
  • Coaching & development of 1 direct report
  • Take ownership of the site based internal control environment to ensure that identified risks are addressed
  • Ensure the integrity of the balance sheet through monthly detailed reviews
  • Be a key member of the senior leadership team, contributing to the running of the side & supporting leadership
  • Provide decision support to ensure optimal decisions are made
  • Optimise site financial performance
  • Lead the process for a robust site budget/forecasting process
  • Contribute to the wider operational team ensuring continuous improvement, efficiency & ways of working

The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified accountant- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
  • Ability to lead & develop a high performing team
  • Experience within FMCG, Retail or Manufacturing
  • Experience working within a fast paced, agile environment
